Currently, I am a Pharmacy student at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS, Brazil). I started college in 2018 and in 2019 I became an undergrad student in the Zimmer Lab. Since then, working with an amazing team that teaches me a lot, I’ve been interested in the applications of biological methods and animal models of Alzheimer’s disease. There are still many discoveries to be unveiled about our brain, experimental studies involving neurobiology/neurochemistry and evaluation of animal models tend to offer a great opportunity for understanding the pathological mechanisms. Besides that, I am a member of the academic league of Neuroscience at the UFRGS and UFCSPA universities.

I am a person who likes to be in good company almost all the time, whether it’s preparing a meal at home or drinking a beer at the bar. However, I also enjoy moments alone to watch movies (like The Notebook) or sitcom series (like Modern Family), listen to music while thinking about life, or take care of plants – or just try to do that. Undoubtedly one of my favorite hobbies is making coffee and enjoying it next to my plants.
