STEPS

To register, submit an abstract, and apply for a Conference Fellowship, please follow these steps:

STEP 1: Become an ISTAART member to have extended submission deadlines
  1. Access the link: https://www.alz.org/ISTAART 
  2. Click on the “Become a member/Renew” button.
  3. Click on the “Join” button according to your career status (ISTAART membership is free for all students, and also for researchers based in low- and middle-income countries!)
  4. Proceed with the membership application (remember to change your country if you are not currently based in the U.S. using the “Change” button next to “Country”)
  5. If you want to auto-renew your membership, do not forget to select this option in the “Membership Details” step. 
  6. You will receive a confirmation email. 
STEP 2: Register for the virtual global event
  1. Access the link: https://www.intheorious.com/alz/pub/aaicnn2024a/ 
  2. Provide an email account and click on the “Continue” button.
  3. Proceed with the registration process.
  4. You will receive a confirmation email.
STEP 3: Register for the Porto Alegre Hub in-person event at no cost - CLOSED
  1. Access the link: http://bit.ly/3Oq423D
  2. Proceed with the registration process.
  3. You will receive a confirmation email.
STEP 4: Submit an abstract and apply for a Conference Fellowship to come to Porto Alegre, Brazil - CLOSED

You must be registered before submitting an abstract. 

    1. Access the link: https://alz.org/neurosciencenext/abstracts.asp
    2. Click on the “Submit an Abstract” button. 
    3. Create an account or log in. 
    4. Click on the “Abstract Submissions” button.
    5. Proceed with the submission process. 
    6. If you want to apply for a Conference Fellowship, please select this option and provide a statement of need. 
    7. If you are interested in attending in person, do not forget to select “Porto Alegre, Brazil”.
