Scientific Interests

I have a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences with emphasis on Clinical Pathology from Universidade Feevale, in which I graduated first of my class. During my first years of college I worked on environmental quality research, determining carbon’s properties and its application in the medical field. I’ve also worked as a tutor of clinical biochemistry, pharmacology and organic/inoganic chemistry. In 2017 I joined Zimmer Lab as an undergraduate student and during that time I assisted in Andréia Rocha’s Master and PhD project. Currently, I’m finishing my second bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul and I’m a master’s student at Zimmer Lab.

Non-Science Biography

I grew up in the countryside, in a very small germanic town in Brazil and when I started graduation I moved to Novo Hamburgo. Before college I used to teach English and be a social volunteer in a youth group. I adore reading fiction and sociology books, especially British literature, but I also like cooking desserts, drawing, and watching comedy TV shows. When I’m with my friends, I enjoy going to pubs or to parks to have a conversation and drink chimarrão.
